Every figure is from the makers’ own pages; ZWILLING gives dimensions to two decimals and the table rounds them. Cuisinart’s page states no wattage, so that cell is empty rather than guessed.

By ZWILLING: 1,500 W at 120 V, 5.31 by 5.31 by 8.27 inches, 3.23 lb, and automatic shut-off when it boils. - Double wall keeps the outside cool and the water hotter for longer

- 1 L is four mugs at most
Good for
- a household with small children
- a tight counter corner
- one or two people who boil a mug or two at a time

Look elsewhere if
- tea drinkers who want set temperatures
- anyone who needs a published wattage before buying
Footprint
On paper the two are the same size; on the counter they are not. The ZWILLING occupies a 5.31-inch square, about 28 square inches. The Cuisinart is 5.71 by 8.07 inches, about 46 square inches, mostly in length from spout to handle. In a corner beside a stove or under a wall cabinet with a 12-inch-deep counter in front of the backsplash, the square kettle fits where the long one hangs over the edge. Heights differ by less than a quarter of an inch.
Weight
3.23 lb against 2.2 lb, empty. A liter of water adds about 2.2 lb to either. That makes the full ZWILLING roughly 5.4 lb and the full Cuisinart roughly 4.4 lb: a difference you feel in the wrist every morning, and the one reason to prefer the Cuisinart if the person pouring has weak hands. The ZWILLING’s extra weight is the double wall and the steel.
Power and speed
ZWILLING publishes 1,500 W, which on a 1-liter fill is a quick boil for a kettle that plugs into a standard 120 V outlet. Cuisinart publishes no figure on the Soho’s page, so there is nothing to compare honestly. If boil time matters to you more than footprint or weight, the kettle with the stated number is the safer buy.
Safety and tidiness
Both switch off at the boil. Cuisinart also names overheat and boil-dry protection, which means the element cuts out if the kettle is switched on empty; ZWILLING’s page lists automatic shut-off and does not spell out boil-dry protection. Cuisinart’s cord storage in the base takes up the slack between kettle and outlet, which on a short counter keeps the cord away from the edge.
Which one, by kitchen
- A tight corner, a shallow counter: ZWILLING Enfinigy.
- Someone who finds a full kettle heavy: Cuisinart Soho.
- A cord that always ends up across the counter: Cuisinart Soho.
- You want to know the wattage before buying: ZWILLING Enfinigy.
- Green tea at 175°F, pour-over at 205°F: neither; a temperature-control kettle from our shortlist.

Which one boils faster?
ZWILLING states 1,500 W at 120 V; Cuisinart does not publish a wattage on the Soho's product page. With the same 1-liter fill, the ZWILLING is the one whose speed you can work out in advance. We do not guess the Cuisinart's figure.
Are both really cool to the touch?
Both makers describe a double-walled body with a stainless steel interior and a cool-touch exterior. The air gap between the walls is what keeps the outside safe to touch during the boil, and it also slows the water's cooling afterward.
Which takes less counter space?
The ZWILLING: 5.31 by 5.31 inches against the Cuisinart's 5.71 by 8.07. The Cuisinart is almost three inches longer front to back, which matters at the edge of a shallow counter or under a cabinet. Heights are close: 8.27 against 8.46 inches.
Can I see how much water is inside?
Neither maker lists a water window, and a double wall makes one hard to build. You fill by the marks inside the kettle. If a visible level matters, a glass kettle on our shortlist shows it.
