Privacy

Updated October 30, 2026

This site is a collection of static pages. It runs no user accounts, no comment system and no advertising network.

What we collect

The site sets one cookie, and only for visitors who arrive through one of our advertising links (see below). Apart from that it stores nothing in your browser for tracking. The search on this site works entirely in your browser; your queries are not sent to us.

To see which pages are read and which shop links are used, we measure visits with PostHog, run by PostHog Inc., 2261 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. PostHog runs here in its cookieless mode: PostHog itself sets no cookies and saves no identifiers on your device. Visitors who arrive through one of our advertising links get a cookie named vs for 24 hours. It holds only the value 1, no identifier, and our statistics use it to count those visits separately.

For each visit we record the page, the referring page, the time, the device type, browser and operating system, and whether you clicked a button that leads to Amazon. If you arrived through a link of one of our campaigns, we also record the campaign label contained in that link. To tell visits apart, PostHog computes a hash on its servers from your IP address, your browser details and a key that changes every day; the IP address itself is not stored. We cannot identify you from this data, and we do not sell or share it.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is measured.

Hosting

The pages are served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser type) for security and capacity purposes for a limited period. We do not combine these logs with any other data.

When you follow a link to Amazon.com, Amazon’s own privacy notice applies from that point. Our links carry an identifier that tells Amazon the visit came from this site; it does not tell us who you are.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message for as long as it takes to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted, including under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell or share personal information. Write to the address on the contact page.

Changes

Any change to this page will be dated at the top of it.
